Cainlee is 1!!!

I can not believe that my baby is 1 already!!! She had a great birthday party and had a blast opening all her presents. We went and got her pics made and she did great!! We also went to the doctor for her one year check-up. She is growing like a weed!!

First Day of School

First Day of School

Today was my first day back to work and Cainlee's first day of school!!! We both hada pretty good day.

I am getting used to my kids and they are getting used to me. It will take about a week, but we will get there.

Cainlee will have fun with Mrs. Bonnie and Mrs. Beverly and she will have fun!!

Welcome Cainlee Jane Dale!!!!

Well she is finally here!!!! Cainlee decided she wanted to enter this world on her own terms.... Monday (8-10-09) early I woke up with what I thought was contractions..... really not sure. Kept lying around until about 7:30 when they were every 5 to 7 minutes. So loaded up most of our stuff and headed to the hospital. In the car, the contractions got to every 4 minutes. We arrived, but they weren't sure they were going to keep me. I was only dilated to a 1. So to stay I had to make some cervix changes or my water had to break....Well at 10:30 I was a 3 and then not too long later my water broke.

Anyways, enough boring talk.... Cainlee Jane Dale was born at 5:23 pm weighing in at 10 lbs 2 ozs and 22 inches long. She is big, but she is precious. She looks identical to the way Claire did when she was born. I do think her hair is not going to be so crazy and maybe it will be a little thicker than Claire's. We came home on Wednesday and she is doing wonderful!!

Here are some pics from Claire's last playday!! She did wonderful!!! We got one 1st place, two 2nd places, two 3rd places and a 4th place!!!! She did great and so did her daddy!!!

This is the Sucker Pluckin'!! She has to grab a sucker off of a goat's tail and then run back. She loves it! Then she immediately eats her sucker!!

Yesterday, we put all of her ribbons she gets from the playdays on a bulletin board and put it in her room and before long we are going to have to get another board. She is awesome!! She loves doing all of the events and can not wait until the next one in August.

My Little Rodeo Princess

This last week was the Weatherford Rodeo. As every year, we went every night, Wednesday through Saturday. Also like last year, Claire rode Honey in the Kids' Grand Entry every night. She did wonderful. We weren't as successful with the goat scramble this year. We tried to get her to go with Daddy and Poppy but nothing was going to get her down there to get the ribbon of the goats tail... she said that the clown scares her... Hope you enjoy the pics!!!

Pink Night at the Rodeo...

Summer time craziness!!!

This is only my first ful week of summer and oh my word so much has gone on.....

1. Last Wednesday, my mom hit her hand on the wall at work carrying some boxes and she broke 2 bones in her hand. This in turn led to surgery on Friday. She is doing well and recovering, but having some trouble using only her left hand. Of course, she broke her right hand. CRAZY!!!!

2. Then my brother-in-law got married on Saturday. It was a beautiful outside wedding at Clark Gardens and all went well. Claire was a flower girl and did wonderful and looked beautiful. I will post some pics when I get some.

3. This Tuesday and Wednesday, Mom, Claire, Logan, Nana and I went to the Great Wolf Lodge. Jamey's family and my family gave this to mom for Mother's Day. We had a blast. A little altered since mom can't get her hand wet, but all went well. Very exhausting 2 days!!

4. At about 4:00 am on Thursday, my aunt called us and my cousin (who is due 3 days before me in August) was at the hospital and her water had broken!!! So we got up, threw on clothes and headed to the hospital. After all day, Bradley Clayton Bettis Jr. was born last night at 6:18 pm weighing in at 4 lbs 1 oz. He is beautiful (I have seen pics.) Whitney and Brad are also doing great!!! This was a little bit of a surprise, but he is great. He will have to stay in the NICU at Harris Southwest for a few weeks, but he will be wonderful!!! Whitney was able to get 2 sterois injections for Bradley's lungs before birth and so this is a huge help to him. I will keep you posted on his success!!!

5. Today we get to go pick up SUGAR (my miniature donkey)!!!!!! I am so excited. I have been waiting on bringing him home for months and today is the day. I am a little nervous for him to ride in the trailer by himself, but I think he will be okay. It's only a short ride from Stephenville to Millsap!!! I will send pics when we get him home today!!!!!

Anyways, this has been my life the last week and a half!!! I am ready for things to settle down, but that probably won't happen. Have a great weekend!!!!!!

Girl #2

Well, we are excited around here!! I guess... We are preparing for little girl #2. I was expecting a little boy so I am.... shocked!! Claire is ecstatic!!!! She could not be happier!! Of course, Bart and I are also excited but a little in shock!! What are we going to do with TWO girls!!!! Anyways, we will keep you posted about out progress!!!
